Welcome to Owanbe Arena, an app designed to connect event vendors with individuals seeking event services. By using the Owanbe Arena app ("the App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. User Responsibilities:
Users of the App, including both service providers and service seekers, are responsible for their actions and interactions within the platform.
Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process.
2. Service Transactions:
Owanbe Arena facilitates the connection between event vendors and service seekers. However, any transaction conducted outside the App is done at the parties' own risk.
Users are encouraged to use the in-app communication and payment features to ensure a secure and reliable experience.
3. Fees and Payments:
Owanbe Arena may charge fees for certain services or transactions conducted through the platform. Users will be notified of any applicable fees before completing a transaction.
Users must comply with the payment terms outlined in the app.
Only 40 percent of the cost of service will be paid to provider before discharging their duties.
Full payment will be made when the Requester marks the job complete.
Both upfront/part payment must be paid through the wallet. WE WON'T BE ANSWERABLE TO ANY COMPLAINTS REGARDING TRANSACTIONS THAT ARE DONE OUTSIDE THE APP!
4. Prohibited Activities:
Users are prohibited from engaging in any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities on the App.
Any attempt to take business transactions outside the App to evade fees or for other reasons is strictly prohibited. Service Providers are not allowed to add Phone Numbers or Social Media Handles to the description of their business. Defaulters would have their accounts disabled.
5. Dispute Resolution:
In the event of a dispute between users, Owanbe Arena may, at its discretion, provide assistance in resolving the issue. However, users acknowledge that transactions conducted outside the App are beyond the platform's control.
6. Termination:
Owanbe Arena reserves the right to terminate or suspend user accounts that violate these terms and conditions or engage in fraudulent activities.
7. Limitation of Liability:
Users who choose to conduct business transactions outside the App do so at their own risk. Owanbe Arena is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from such transactions.
8. Changes to Terms:
Owanbe Arena reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
9. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and Nigeria
Data Protection Regulation, 2019 and other relevant Nigerian laws and regulations.
